Cheeky works with the way you use your phone.
The Cheeky app supports nine accessibility features across vision, hearing, motor, and cognitive needs. These are the features we declare on the App Store, and they are tested in every release.

Nine features, on by default when you turn them on in Settings.
Cheeky follows your device settings. There is nothing to configure inside the app.
Voice Control
Controls carry names you can say aloud. Tap, scroll, and type through the app hands-free.
Larger Text
Text scales with Dynamic Type, including the largest accessibility sizes, and layouts reflow instead of clipping.
Dark Interface
A full dark appearance that follows the system setting, for lower glare and comfortable use at night.
Differentiate Without Color Alone
Status, selection, and errors are shown with shape, text, or icons as well as colour, never colour on its own.
Sufficient Contrast
Text and controls meet the WCAG contrast ratios in both light and dark appearances.
Reduced Motion
With Reduce Motion on, transitions and animated effects are replaced with simple fades or removed.
Captions
Video in the app carries captions for spoken audio, so nothing depends on being able to hear it.
Audio Descriptions
Video content offers an audio-described track that narrates what is happening on screen.
How to turn them on
Set it once on your device. Cheeky follows.
On iPhone, open Settings and choose Accessibility. On Android, open Settings and choose Accessibility. Cheeky picks up the change immediately.

If a screen or feature is hard to use with assistive technology, email us with the device, the feature you were using, and where it broke. Accessibility reports are prioritised.
